Quality

Quality begins with the use of high-quality materials. We therefore source all our components from selected manufacturers and check them for defects as soon as they arrive at our premises. Throughout the entire subsequent manufacturing process right through to delivery, we place great emphasis on quality assurance and meticulous inspection. Three pillars underpin our high quality standards: continuous development, the use of state-of-the-art technologies and our in-depth expertise.

We place great importance on being close to our customers, building relationships based on trust, and ensuring we can be reached quickly, even in emergencies.

What criteria are involved in selecting a measuring probe?

The measuring probe connects the measuring system to the actual process. When selecting a probe, the installation space, contact with the medium, temperature and the existing connection geometry must be taken into account. Accessibility, cleaning and subsequent reference comparisons are equally relevant. A probe should therefore be assessed in conjunction with the measuring section, rather than solely on the basis of its external dimensions.

In the case of media containing water, changes in composition and fill level can influence the analysis. Microwave transmission requires a reproducible measurement situation. A new installation location or a change in geometry may necessitate a re-evaluation of the existing calibration. This also applies even if the product used remains the same.

What should be documented prior to installation?

A plant layout drawing or a detailed sketch helps to understand the planned measurement section. This includes pipework routing, connection points, available installation length and the position of the sampling point. Unusual operating conditions should also be described: partially empty pipework, start-up, cleaning or frequent product changes. This information supports technical coordination without assuming blanket suitability for every plant.

When measuring a tank, mixing must be taken into account. A value measured at a local point does not automatically represent the entire tank volume. In a pipe, complete filling and possible gas accumulation are important points to check. An easily accessible measuring point also facilitates subsequent checks and the documentation of changes.

How are the hardware and data analysis integrated?

Once selected, the sensor data is linked to the intended measured variable. Calibration utilises appropriate reference data for the product. A traceable test plan takes into account installation, operating range and temperature. It is only this interconnection that transforms the installed hardware into a meaningful process measurement.

The product page describes the documented MicroSinus functions. The project planning team compiles the necessary data for implementation in your plant. When making a technical enquiry, please specify any existing drawings, the medium and the desired measured variable. Additional certifications or specific material properties are not assumed here; these must be verified based on the specific design.
